Approval of minerals trading posts from artisanal production

Any investor wishing to obtain approval as trade postof mineral substances from artisanal production must comply with the following procedure :

1. Setting up the company with the One-stop Shop for incorporation

2.Submission of approval application to the Provincial and Urban Division where the investor would locate his Enterprise. The request must contain the following :

  • A notarized copy of the Charters of the applicant company ;
  • A copy of the Trade Register and of Movable Credit ;
  • A copy of the National Identification Number ;
  • A copy of Import and Export Number ;
  • A new tax identifier "NIF" ;
  • Proof of ownership of an account in the name of the Company in a bank licensed in the DRC ;
  • Produce evidence of ownership of at least one building of durable materials in each area of activity.

After processing and approval from the Urban Division, the applicant firm is subject to the payment of the fees to the Treasury :

  • Annual fee : diamond ($ 200,000) and Gold ($ 5,000) ;
  • Deposit : diamond ($ 50,000) and Gold (2,500 USD)
  • Filing fees of the file approval application as a trade post : diamond (200 USD) and Gold (200 USD)

3. Transmission of the file to the Department of Mines at the Secretariat General of Mines. After management opinion, transmission of the draft Decree to the Ministry of Mines for signature.

Other accrued expenses during the operating phase

  • Purchase approval trade post : Diamond (1000 USD) and Gold (1000 USD) ;
  • Additional Purchase approval to the first ten : diamond (15,000 USD) and Gold (1500 USD) ;
  • Filing fees during the approval application of trade post purchaser : Diamond : (150 USD) and Gold (150 USD)
