The fair activities of Kinshasa for the year 2016 will start on Saturday, July 16 and close on 15th August, announced the Director General of the International Fair of Kinshasa (FIKIN), Eugene Bokopolo. The N ° 1 of FIKIN engaged with the press on Monday 11 July in Kinshasa.

Under the theme "Support the modernization of FIKIN" this edition has a national and international character, said Mr. Bokopolo stating the new participation of Cameroon, Ghana,Benin and Kenya. Public and private companies will exhibit at the FIKIN.

Bokopolo invited public and private companies to come to expose at FIKIN which, according to him, is a place of exchange, sales and trading, before calling on the Congolese authorities "to take steps to close, through the city, village fairs that impede the smooth running of fun activities and exposes children. "

Turning to the aspect related to the rehabilitation of this space, the general manager of the FIKIN said that the work will take place next year, under the leadership of the head of state Joseph Kabila in his vision of the modernity revolution. It will include "modernization" of the space through the construction of theme parks and exhibitions to attract traders from various parts of the world.

The Managing Director of the International Fair of Kinshasa (FIKIN) has said that the work will be executed by the Government, under the supervision of the Prime Minister. "The Ministry of Commerce will also supervise the rehabilitation project," who also announced the holding at the end of this year of an agricultural show.
