ANAPI calls on elected officials and provincial ministers to take ownership of the improvement of the business climate

The National Investment Promotion Agency, ANAPI organized a workshop with members of parliament and provincial ministers of the city of Kinshasa to raise awareness on the reforms of the business climate in the DRC.

This activity chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of planning and sponsored by the African Development Bank (BAD) took place on Friday, August 21 in the conference room of the City Hall of Kinshasa.
In the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Planning, ANAPI’s Managing Director, Anthony Nkinzo Kamole said he expects from these provincial authorities a solemn and public commitment of ownership of the improvement of the business and investment climate in the DRC.

At the same time, he hopes to obtain a partnership with the city of Kinshasa in order to work on investment promotion strategies to restore the image of the capital city Kinshasa.

In the same way, he expects them to take up the challenge of communication with the population but also of cleaning up the legal environment, particularly with an adequate legislation favorable to attract investors.

The ANAPI Managing Director has asked these provincial authorities to make the provincial administration, interface with investors, viable.

The Vice Governor of the City of Kinshasa, Nero Mbungu and the Vice President of the Provincial Assembly thanked ANAPI for holding these meetings.
Immediately, the provincial minister of planning presented to the audience, the provincial cell of business climate set up in order to accompany this agency in the realization of its missions.
